Honda Confirms 2027 Return of NC750X DCT and Goldwing
Honda has announced the return of the NC750X DCT and Gold Wing lineup for the 2027 model year, continuing to offer two distinctly different approaches to motorcycle touring. The NC750X DCT emphasizes versatility, everyday practicality, and affordability, while the Gold Wing remains Honda’s premier choice for riders seeking long-distance comfort and sophisticated touring technology.
Announced October 6, the returning models give sport touring and touring riders a range of options, from a relatively lightweight, adventure-inspired motorcycle to a fully equipped luxury touring machine.
2027 Honda NC750X DCT
The NC750X DCT returns for 2027 with its familiar combination of an efficient 745cc parallel-twin engine, upright riding position, and Honda’s Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). The automatic transmission eliminates the need for manual clutch operation while allowing riders to select gears using handlebar-mounted controls.
A distinguishing feature is the NC750X’s 23-liter storage compartment, located where a conventional motorcycle’s fuel tank would normally sit. The compartment can accommodate an adventure-style helmet, adding practical storage without requiring external luggage.
The NC750X also offers a five-inch full-color TFT display with Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity, selectable riding modes, traction control, and ABS. Riders interested in longer trips can add accessories including panniers, handguards, and a comfort seat.
For sport touring riders, the NC750X provides an interesting alternative to traditional sport touring motorcycles, particularly those who value practicality and convenience.
The 2027 Honda NC750X DCT will be offered in Matte Mud Gray, with an MSRP of $9,499. Honda expects the motorcycle to become available in November.
2027 Honda Gold Wing
Honda’s Gold Wing continues its more than 50-year legacy as one of motorcycling’s most recognized long-distance touring platforms. Powered by a horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine, the Gold Wing combines smooth performance, a refined chassis, and extensive touring amenities.
For 2027, Honda will offer five configurations spanning the standard Gold Wing and the more extensively equipped Gold Wing Tour. Buyers can choose between conventional manual transmissions and Honda’s DCT automatic, with an airbag-equipped version available at the top of the range.
The five configurations give buyers with a choice of transmission, touring equipment, and passenger accommodations.
Honda has announced the following 2027 models and starting MSRPs:
| Model | MSRP |
|---|---|
| Gold Wing | $25,700 |
| Gold Wing Automatic DCT | $26,700 |
| Gold Wing Tour | $29,700 |
| Gold Wing Tour Automatic DCT | $30,700 |
| Gold Wing Tour Airbag Automatic DCT | $34,000 |
The standard Gold Wing models will be offered in Metallic Black. The Gold Wing Tour and Tour Automatic DCT will be available in Ignition Blue, Black, and Gray Metallic, while the Tour Airbag Automatic DCT will be offered in Gray Metallic.
Honda expects the Gold Wing Tour versions to become available in October, followed by the standard Gold Wing versions in November.
