Kawasaki’s fall motorcycle announcement brings back a broad selection of street bikes, including sport touring, adventure touring, and cruiser models with equipment aimed at riders who travel.

Kawasaki has announced its fall release of 2027 street motorcycles, with a lineup spanning sport, supersport, naked, retro, cruiser, and touring categories. While the announcement covers a wide range of riding interests, several returning models stand out for their combination of performance, comfort, and touring capability.

Among them are the Ninja 1100SX, supercharged Ninja H2 SX SE, Versys 650 LT, and Versys 1100 SE LT. The Vulcan 900 Classic LT also returns for riders who prefer traditional cruiser styling and touring equipment.

Together, these motorcycles offer distinctly different approaches to touring, from sport-oriented road machines to upright adventure touring motorcycles and traditional V-twin cruisers.

Ninja 1100SX: Sport Touring Performance

The 2027 Ninja 1100SX ABS and Ninja 1100SX SE ABS continue Kawasaki’s approach to combining sportbike performance with practical touring capability.

Both models feature a 1,099cc inline-four engine, a relaxed riding position, and an electronics package that includes selectable power modes, integrated riding modes, traction control, electronic cruise control, and Kawasaki’s quick shifter. Cornering management and intelligent anti-lock braking systems further support rider control.

A 4.3-inch color TFT display provides access to motorcycle information and smartphone connectivity. Kawasaki also specifies a four-position adjustable windshield and upper transmission ratios optimized for touring comfort.

The SE version adds Brembo front brakes, an Öhlins S46 rear shock, steel-braided brake lines, and heated grips.

For riders who favor responsive handling and sporting performance without giving up the amenities useful on a multi-day trip, the Ninja 1100SX remains one of Kawasaki’s most attractive sport touring offerings.

The standard Ninja 1100SX ABS starts at $14,199, while the SE ABS is priced at $15,999. Both are scheduled for availability in late October.

Ninja H2 SX SE: Technology and Supercharged Power

At the premium end of Kawasaki’s sport touring lineup, the 2027 Ninja H2 SX SE ABS combines a supercharged 998cc inline-four engine with an extensive collection of electronic rider assistance features.

Its Advanced Rider Assist System includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, and blind spot detection. Other equipment includes electronically controlled suspension, tire pressure monitoring, vehicle hold assist, automatic high beams, and a 6.5-inch TFT instrument display.

These technologies are particularly relevant to touring riders. Adaptive cruise control can reduce the need for repeated adjustments on highways, while blind spot detection and forward collision warning provide additional situational awareness. Of course, none of these replace the rider’s responsibility to monitor traffic and road conditions.

The Ninja H2 SX SE occupies a distinctive position in the lineup, pairing high-performance engineering with state-of-the-art touring-oriented technology and comfort.

For 2027, the motorcycle is offered in Metallic Carbon Gray/Metallic Diablo Black, with an MSRP of $29,999. It is available now.

Versys 650 and 1100: Two Approaches to Adventure Touring

Kawasaki’s returning Versys models emphasize upright riding positions, adaptable suspension, and equipment suited to everyday use as well as extended trips.

The 2027 Versys 650 LT ABS features a 649cc parallel-twin engine, long-travel suspension, traction control, and a four-position adjustable windshield. Standard hand guards provide additional protection from wind and weather.

Its touring equipment includes two removable 28-liter hard side cases, each capable of accommodating a full-face helmet. Kawasaki’s One Key System allows the ignition key to operate the luggage locks.

With a 5.5-gallon fuel tank and an emphasis on versatility, the Versys 650 LT offers a practical combination of commuting convenience and touring capability.

The 2027 Versys 650 LT ABS carries an MSRP of $10,599 and is expected in late October.

The 2027 Versys 1100 SE LT ABS takes the adventure touring concept further with a punchier 1,099cc inline-four engine, electronically controlled suspension, and a more extensive electronics package.

Its rider assistance systems include electronic cruise control, selectable power modes, cornering management, and intelligent anti-lock braking. The Showa suspension provides 5.9 inches of travel at both ends, while standard hard side cases provide 28 liters of storage capacity each.

The 2027 Versys 1100 SE LT ABS is available now, with an MSRP of $19,799.

The Vulcan 900 Classic LT carries an MSRP of $10,699 and is available now.

Touring Choices for 2027

Kawasaki has offered a lineup that maintains a commitment to satisfying the interests and riding preferences of sport touring and touring motorcyclists alike.

The Ninja 1100SX emphasizes sporting performance with touring comfort. The Ninja H2 SX SE adds supercharged performance and advanced rider assistance. The Versys models prioritize versatility, upright ergonomics, and practical touring equipment, while the Vulcan 900 Classic LT offers a traditional cruiser alternative.
