Cardo Introduces Integrated Communication Systems For HJC Helmets
Cardo Systems has introduced two new integrated Bluetooth communication systems developed for select HJC helmets. Created in collaboration with HJC, the new HJC 4X and HJC Spirit systems are designed to fit specific HJC helmet models while preserving a clean, low-profile helmet design.
For sport touring riders, the appeal is straightforward: integrated communication without the bulk of a universal external installation. Both systems are built to install cleanly into compatible HJC helmets while offering Cardo’s established Bluetooth communication features.
HJC 4X: Small Group Ride Communication
The premium option is the HJC 4X, a Bluetooth communicator intended for small group rides. It supports intercom for up to four riders, Natural Voice Operation, Live Bluetooth connectivity, 40mm JBL speakers, and a claimed range of up to 1.2 km, or 0.75 miles. Cardo lists talk time at up to 13 hours.

HJC Spirit: Rider-To-Passenger Simplicity
The HJC Spirit is positioned as the simpler, everyday option. It is designed primarily for rider-to-passenger communication and includes Bluetooth intercom, 40mm HD speakers, and up to 10 hours of talk time. Cardo’s product page lists connection for up to two riders and a maximum unit-to-unit range of up to 400 meters, or 0.25 miles.
Compatible HJC Helmets and Pricing
Both units are designed for selected HJC helmets, including the RPHA 31, RPHA 60, RPHA 71, RPHA 71C, RPHA 91, RPHA 91C, F31, F71, F71C, i71, and i91. Cardo also lists over-the-air software updates, cross-brand connectivity, and a two-year warranty for both models.

The HJC 4X is priced at $299.95 in the United States. The HJC Spirit is priced at $149.95. Both units are available directly from Cardo.
